Who we are

Trela is a product owned and operated by Resworb Solutions. Resworb Solutions is the data controller for the Trela platform, and references to “Trela”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this policy mean Resworb Solutions.

Overview

This Privacy Policy is a general, non-binding description of how Trela handles personal and workforce information across our workforce operations platform, mobile applications and related services. It is provided for informational purposes and does not form part of any contract between you and Trela.

By using the platform you acknowledge the practices summarised here. Where we act on behalf of a customer organisation, that organisation’s own agreements and policies may also apply to the data it processes through Trela.

Information we collect

We collect account details such as names, work email addresses and roles; operational data such as sites, shifts, attendance records and payroll inputs; and technical data such as device information, log files and approximate location where a feature requires it.

Some information is provided directly by an administrator when configuring the platform, and some is generated automatically as staff and clients interact with the product.

How we use it

We use information to operate and secure the platform, deliver the features you request, provide support, generate reports, and improve reliability and performance. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to understand usage trends and develop new capabilities.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use workforce data for advertising.

Workforce & biometric data

Where face check-in is enabled, biometric templates are processed on-device and used solely to verify that the correct person is present for a shift. This data is used for identity verification only. It is never sold, shared for marketing, or repurposed for profiling.

Biometric verification can be disabled by an administrator, and related records are retained only for as long as needed to support attendance and compliance purposes.

Data sharing & processors

We share information with trusted service providers who help us run the platform, such as cloud hosting, communications and analytics vendors. These processors are bound by contractual obligations to protect the data and to use it only for the services they provide to us.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the public.

Security

We apply administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and continuous monitoring. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

Your rights

Depending on your location and role, you may have rights to access, correct, export or request deletion of personal information. Where Trela processes data on behalf of a customer, we will direct such requests to that customer and support them in responding.
